Collect. Match. Trade.
We invite all collectors to utilize our database of collectibles. Collectors can manage their collections by updating the have, want, and for trade quantity of any collectible in the database, as well use our trade match functionality to find fellow collectors who have collectibles they want, and want collectibles they have.
Mission Statement
There are many social networking groups, such as Facebook groups, that are dedicated to collecting, buying, selling, and trading a certain type of collectible. We know that admins of these groups may not have time to create a website for their members to easily trade items. We also know that we, the creators of Collector’s Trading Platform, cannot know every type of collectible out there nor have the capacity to manage that many collectible types. Hence, we came up with the idea for Collector’s Trading Platform, a space for collectors to manage their collections and find collectors to trade with, and a place for group admins to easily add collectibles that their groups love to our database!
Trading
Are you afraid of trading online? Fear not! We have implemented a rating system where you can see feedback of a certain collector left by other collectors. We also require all users to back their trades through PayPal Goods and Services. Please review our rules page for more information.
Admins
We need admins to help our database grow! As a collectible type admin, you have access to add, edit, or delete collectibles from our website. You can add and edit specific attributes of your collectible type, and easily upload an image of the collectible. We are confident your group members will love using our website once their favorite collectible type is in the database. Please see our contact us page for details on how to apply.
Multiple Collectible Types Support
Are you a collector of more than one collectible type? No problem! This website allows you to easily manage all your collections in one place, as well as find trade matches with other collectors, cross-collectible types. Use our filter feature to only view certain collectible types at a time throughout the website.
Public or Private
Don't want to trade for a while but still want to manage your collection? From your profile page, you can make your have, want, or for trade lists private so other collectors can't see your collection. You also won't appear in trade matching features. You can make it public once you're ready to trade again.
Find Matches Quickly
Find collectors who have collectibles you want in the matches section of your profile page or on a specific collectible's page. Click on their username and go to the trade matches page that displays collectibles they want that you have, and collectibles you want that they have! Think you've found the perfect trade? Send them an email and propose your trade!
